Gasping for breath, a massive, feathered and furred beast pounded down the hillside, struggling to keep its aching, massive wings from dragging along the ground. It's large tail, normally glowing bright orange from its inner heat, barely let off smoke in the rain. "Foolish, stupid little.... I never ought to have tried to fight him in the rain. Ahh... I can't lose... Not after so long." It turned its muzzled head, glancing over it's shoulder to see if it had lost it pursuer. "Tch! I can still smell him... He'll find me soon... Have to find help..."

Not too far from where the beast was flying, a pair of humans were trying to make their way home, trying to avoid the pouring rain. They were moving in and out of the archways of buildings, attempting to keep as dry as possible.

"Oh man, this rain came out of nowhere!" Peter, one of the duo commented to his friend, Dsarvess. The two had been out doing a bit of late night food shopping when the heavens suddenly opened up on them.

"Yeah... Jeez. I don't normally mind rain, but this is ridiculous." Holding his hands above his head in a vain attempt to shield himself from the rain. "Hey... Let's cut through the forest. It'll be quicker, and the trees will protect us from the rain a bit."

"I hope you're right there!" He chuckled as they dashed from whatever shelter they had, running towards the forest. Thankfully his friend was right, the rain wasn't coming through as thick as it was in the forest, the thick trees taking most of the downpour.

As the two entered the woods, the beast raised its head, sniffing the air. "Humans! Maybe... maybe they can help." Digging its claws into the dirt, it spun about and began rushing toward the source of the scent.

"I hope it doesn't take too long to get home following this route..." Peter commented as they kept running, taking a short break for a few minutes after a giant tree, the large branches on it shielding them from the torrential rain. It was a good place for the two of them to catch their breath, looking up at the sky through the branches. "From the looks of it, the rain should be stopping soon."

"I hope so. Most of the time, rains like this don't last too long." Dsarvess was suddenly interrupted by a loud clap of thunder overhead as the rain picked up again. Sighing, he turned to his friend. "I don't think we should head very far... Sounds like lightning's starting up, and I don't want to be caught out in the open during a thunderstorm."

"Well we better get home then, and fast. If lightning strikes around here, the whole place could be set ablaze." Peter said a little sternly. "And to be quite honest, I'd rather be soaking wet than on fire."

"Geh... That's true. But we might get struck if we head out into the open. Ahh... How about we wait on the edge of the woods?"

"I suppose we can do that too, so let's get moving." He smirked as he dashed off, Dsarvess following behind his friend. The rain continued to pour down as the two of them eventually reached the edge of the forest, looking at the city ahead of them. The two were nearly home, but they needed to keep safe for the time being as they waited underneath a nearby bus stop.

The creature growled deeply at the sound of thunder. "He's getting further away... I've got time now." Taking long strides out of the wooded area, it skidded to a stop directly behind the two as Dsarvess cried out in alarm and fright. "What the..?! P-peter! Run!"

"Run? You just said to stay here until the lightning has passed, and now you want us to run?" Peter sounded a bit confused, tilting his head at his friend.

"Be-behind us!" Dsarvess fell over backward, scrambling away from the softly smiling beast. "It just... Look at it!"

He turned around, his eyes going wide as he laid eyes on the creature. "Holy Arceus...that can't be..." He gulped, looking at it. It was a draconic creature, roughly over ten and a half feet tall. It had long, wing-like arms with clawed hands resting atop them, and a large, cylinder-like tail.

"A Reshiram...but something is different..." He commented, noticing the beasts silvery-grey feathers in place of the normal white, and whilst its right eye was blue, the left was green. It also seemed to be sporting a few scars, bloodied cuts along the chest and wings.

"It... you don't want to hurt us, do you?" Dsarvess looked carefully up at the creature, trying to return its smile. "Why are you out in the rain like this? Aren't you a Fire type?"

"Yes, but I'm also a Dragon type. The water weakness is canceled out." The creature responded in a calm, feminine tone of voice.

"Oh..." He blushed deeply, instantly infatuated by the creature's voice. "You.. you're hurt! I think that I have a potion with me somewhere..." Fumbling about with his pack, he tried to find something to help it, stymied by a spreading hollow, numb feeling throughout his body. He was barely able to pull it out and hold it up to the legend. "Here... For you."

She smiled gently as he sprayed her with the Max Potion that he had kept on him for such an emergency, the Reshiram's wounds healing up quickly as the flames generated by her tail blazed with new energy, the great dragon throwing her head back and roaring as she was rejuvenated. "Thank you, humans...may I ask of your names?"

"My name is Dsarvess, and this is my friend Peter. Is there anything we can do to help you? Anything we can do for such a... magnificent creature?"

"Hrm...there might be something that the two of you could do to help me out with, but it might be a pretty big deal, as it would require a small amount of sacrifice."

"Sacrifice of what? Whatever it is, we'd be more than happy to help out such a noble Pokémon such as you." Peter smiled.

"The sacrifice...would be your humanity." She said bluntly.

"Our...humanity?" He blinked. "Did I just miss a huge chunk of information, cause I'm really confused to what I'd be giving my humanity up for..."

"Maybe we did, Pete, but... I think I'd still like to help it." Reaching up to the creature to stroke its feathers, Dsarvess softly spoke to it, almost as if he was enthralled or entranced. "Anything I can do to help, I will. I trust you..."

"I know that, and I want to help it as well, but at the same time I am quite interested in knowing what she needs us for. That and I would also like to know just what had happened to her to land before us in such a wounded state." He said, gazing into the creature's two toned eyes with a sense of longing.

"Ah... You know of my ancient rival, do you not?" She stepped closer to the pair, leaning down before them. "Our feud has gone on for centuries, but it almost came to an end tonight. I need aid. Others, who could help me to not fall to my foe, even in rain that cripples my abilities... I would have you become like me. Both of you would become Reshiram."

"I'm guessing this rival of yours would happen to be Zekrom...this could be interesting then, the weather is playing in its advantage right now...but with three of us, that would be triple the fire power, and we'd be able to dry up the rain with our heat!" Peter chuckled.

"You catch on fast for a human." The Reshiram smiled towards the human. "There are other reasons why I'd like you to join me, but now isn't the time for that. So will the two of you help me end this feud?"

"I would be honoured to help out such a beautiful creature, count me in!" Peter grinned wide.

"Ye-yeah... I'd love to join you!" Dsarvess smiled as well, doing his best to hug the creature's massive frame. "Shall we begin?"

"Yes, but which of the two of you shall be converted first..." She pondered, looking down at the humans. "Also, to avoid any confusion, there will be one small difference between you two. Just so I don't get either of you confused is all." She purred.

Dsarvess reached up to stroke the claws that tip her wings, smiling eagerly. "I'd love to join you first... And whatever difference you choose to have, I'm sure will be perfect." Turning to face his friend, he smiled hopefully. "As long as you don't mind me being first, that is..."

"I don't mind at all. If she wants to change you first, I'll sit back and watch the fireworks." Peter smiled.

The Reshiram purred, chuckling at the comment. "Your turn will come after your friends." She leaned closer to Dsarvess, blue and green eyes gleaming in the light as she placed her lips against the humans, giving him a soft, longing kiss.

He let out a surprised gasp that quickly became a pleased sigh as he returned the kiss, barely noticing as she let a soft stream of flame burn through her mouth and down his throat. As she released him, the tender warmth of that flame remained within him, growing larger and more powerful with every breath he took. Gazing up at her with total adoration and loyalty, the flame burned up into his face, bringing a bright red flush to his face, and a soft blue sheen to his eyes.

"Looks like it's working without a hitch." She smiled, his eyes glowing a radiant blue, the pupils drawing into thin slits as the heat within him grew slowly stronger, spreading through every inch of his form. He let out a soft groan as the growing heat was too much for his clothing, the fabric bursting into flames, disintegrating in a matter of seconds. As that happened though, he caught the start of soft, feather-like fur beginning to spread across his body, a brilliant white in color.

"Ye-yes... It's so WARM!" With a cry, he dropped to his knees, struggling to contain his joy at the transformation that now engulfed him. His gasps and pants began to emit soft gouts of flame as his body began to glow a soft orange, barely able to contain the fire that grew stronger still within him.

She purred happily, noticing his arms starting to grow larger now, the limbs rearranging themselves with a few pops and cracks, allowing for movement in almost every possible direction as they grew broader. His hands shifted as his arms grew much larger, stretching into a pair of elegant, angelic wings. As they grew to their full size, his hands rested atop the wings, fingers growing a little longer as silvery claws grew from his fingers, a patch of silvery scales sitting below his knuckles.

Stretching his wings out, he groaned at the feeling of the wind and rain across his feathers, his body beginning to steam and smoke as the drops hit him, evaporating from his intense inner heat. "R-Reeee.... Resh..." Struggling to beat the wings he clumsily lifted himself a few feet into the air before crashing back down to the ground, laughing in joy at the promise of flight.

"It'll come to you soon, dear." She nuzzled him, watching his rain-drenched shirt starting to grow tighter against him, his upper body growing slightly thinner whilst his lower body began to grow larger, his stomach swelling in size as the fur covered it, gathering into a large, upwards curving point that protruded from his swelling belly, the heat just growing all the more intense as the space it had to burn grew wider.

"I know it will... And I know I'll love it!" His words were soon cut off, though, by fiery gasps as he struggled to take in the air needed to fill his growing chest, and feed the raging flames within him. The intense orange glow was focusing itself at the base of his spine, as if waiting for an outlet, waiting for a way other than his burning breath to release itself.

As the flames gathered there, his legs began to grow in preparation for the changes, the muscles swelling in size as they formed powerful haunches, his feet growing larger as his toes fused into three large digits, silvery talons growing from them as an additional one grew from his heels. To top off the changes to his legs, large quills grew from the top of them.

He reached down, trying to stroke the quills with his wings as his body began to tremble, begging for the release of his inner flame. With a soft growl he looked up at his friend, bliss in his eyes, eager to see how his friend was taking his changes.

Peter smiled, approaching his changing friend as a large bump began to grow on the base of his spine, slowly growing larger and larger as the flames grew more intense. Flames began to escape from the bump as it began to slowly grow outwards, a large, conical shaped tail beginning to emerge from it. Markings appeared in the scales as three large patches grew along them, growing into three pronged points as they sat aside his tail, a smaller tail growing from the end of his tail, long and tapered, almost like a fuse. As it began to heat up with flame, it gained a bright orange glow, two large silvery bands growing around the limb.

"Shiiiiraaaaahhhh...." Dsarvess gasped as his tail ignited into a soft burning glow, the steam surrounding him intensifying. Stretching out his body, he strained his neck up and out, loud cracks beginning to emerge from his spine as it restructured itself to support the massive tail.

"It's almost done now." She told him, watching him stretch as his spine grew larger and broader, cracks filling the air as his neck grew longer now, lifting his head away from his shoulders. As it grew, another pair of metal bands materialised around his lithe neck, his head repositioning itself upon it.

Opening his mouth, and cracking his jaws in anticipation of the final stage of the change, he noticed that his feathery form was now completely dry, his inner heat having leveled off at a point still fierce enough to evaporate the water before it touched him. "Ssssoo... Cloossse..."

The two looked on eagerly as his jaws cracked, slowly pushing outwards, nose sinking into his upper jaw, nostrils flaring wide as his jaws stretched into a muzzle that was draconic and canine in appearance. Tufts of scale-like fur grew from his cheeks and the underside of his muzzle, teeth growing into long, sharpened fangs as his tongue grew larger to fit his new maw. His already changed eyes moved to the sides of his head as he felt his ears growing larger and pointed, almost buried under his growing hair as it began to drift elegantly behind his head, growing out until it reached his tail, floating behind him as his changes reached their conclusion.

Smiling at the completed change, she lifted her head high, sniffing the air. "Excellent... We have plenty of time, still. He has not yet found us." Turning to Peter, she grinned broadly. "And so..." Suddenly darting her head forward, she stole a deep, long kiss, her face beginning to glow softly as she blushed. With a breath, her flame poured down into him igniting and beginning to grow.

He let out a soft moan, surprised at the sudden kiss, but he found himself gently stroking her muzzle, holding her closer into the kiss as he stared into her eyes, smiling softly as he did so. She let out a soft purr as she broke the kiss a few seconds later, still a little red in the face. "I...I guess you enjoyed that, didn't you dear?" She chuckled, looking at him eagerly.

Before he was able to answer, his voice was cut off by a sudden burst of energy from within him, as the flame began to grow, seeping into every cell of his being, forcing its way up and out of his throat in a purplish gout. It left him coughing on the smoke and ash, his entire body quivering with the force of containing the energy that had begun to run wild within him.

He coughed again as another burst of purple flame left his mouth, his eyes closing themselves as the flames seeped into his head. After a few seconds, he was able to open them back up again, his yellow eyes now blood red, pupils pulling into thin slits.

"This would be the difference I was talking about - I'm pretty sure you already know about alternate colorations...or as you humans call it, Shiny Pokémon." She giggled.

"Guess... Guess that would make it easy to distinguish us." He spoke as quickly as he could before another surge of flame wracked his body, sending him into fits of coughing. The flames searing the grass on the ground, and charring the earth a deep black. His flame was far too intense for human cloth to contain now, and his body was soon stained by the grey ash that was once his clothing. His skin, however, had turned a shade of golden white, fur and feathers beginning to sprout from it uncontrollably.

"Grrrraaaggg!" He groaned, feeling the fur sprouting in random places, feathers growing out as large quills to being with, making it feel like someone was sticking large needles into his flesh. As they grew out into full feathers, a smile crossed his face, looking at the ground around him and just how much damage he had caused with such a small burst of flame. "This...is going to get interesting." He chuckled, brushing the ash from his form.

As the ash touched his hands, they suddenly became unbearably heavy, dragging him to the ground with their weight. Through his tear-filled eyes, he could see long golden talons split the tips of his digits, digging into the ground as the feathers along his arms grew more massive and plentiful. His muscles soon became thicker and more powerful, strong enough to lift the massive wings as he struggled back to his feet. Despite his growing strength, he found himself horribly off balance, as his mostly unchanged legs were unable to properly support his now quite top-heavy form.

He tried to keep his balance, spreading his massive wings wide, legs still shaking as he was brought down to one knee. His hands gently clasped against his wings as he tried to smile to his friend and the Reshiram.

"Don't worry, your legs will change shortly, so you'll be able to stand up properly once they are done." She assured him, gently nuzzling his face with a soft purr.

Despite her words, however, the change he felt was not focusing itself in his legs. Instead, he felt a desire to stretch upward, and return her nuzzling. As she slowly pulled away, his neck began to snap and crack outward, lengthening somewhat to follow her. With a tight pang of pain, he felt a pair of golden bands erupt from within him, encircling his neck as his jaws began to ache fiercely, his hair tumbling down his neck and onto his shoulders.

"Gguuurraahhh.....Rrrreessshhii..." He began to purr, staring at the female. He cricked his neck gently, flexing it as he waved his head around. He felt the pain starting to build up in his face, and he realised that the changes were taking a slightly different route than Dsarvess's transformation. He was about to overbalance again when Dsar rushed to his side, holding the changing human upright as he gently nuzzled him.

"Don't worry, we're here for you, Reshiiii ♪." He smiled to his friend.

Peter's head quickly began to change more fully, his face swiftly pushing out into a muzzle in a series of loud and painful snaps, the feathery fur flaring out from his cheeks as it did so. His teeth let out a loud grinding noise as they grew more plentiful and razor sharp, his tongue filling out his new maw as his hair turned the same golden white as his fur, glowing a deep violet from the heat contained within him. The heat began to rush down his body, tightening and straining at his legs as the quills near his hips began to grow longer and more pronounced.

"Finally reaching the legs..." He chuckled, feeling new strength filling them as he was able to push himself up, noticing that his thighs were slowly growing larger and more rounder. Such weight in his legs would normally crush the bones below, but thankfully that wasn't going to happen any time soon. "Ggggaa... Despite how painful this gets...it feels really good....ssshhirrram..." He purred gently.

As he lifted himself up, he nearly collapsed once more as his feet shuddered violently, massive golden talons tearing their way from the front as a single large talon sliced its way from his heel, digging down into the soil to regain his balance. As the immense weight of his body bore down on his legs, they grew thicker and shorter, muscles tensing as his frame grew slightly shorter. Now able to accommodate his mass, his chest began to growl and groan, bulging outward as steam began to rush from his body, the flames within him rapidly growing in intensity.

He chuckled, relieved that his form was now able to properly support his weight, giving his wings a few short flaps as he lifted himself up off of the ground, steam rising from the seared earth as his feet had left smouldering foot prints. He coughed again a little, another burst of purple flame coming from his maw as he landed back down a few moments later, alongside the female Reshiram as he purred to her, gently placing another kiss on her muzzle as his wing-hand brushed against her neck softly.

"Almost there, now... Let the flame grow. Let it release itself from you." As she spoke, he felt an intense burning at the base of his spine, and it felt as though his spine was dissolving, cracking and flowing to prepare for the emergence of his tail. He could barely contain his cries as the cloud of steam surrounding him become more and more intense. The heat within him boiling out of control.

"Grrrraahh...yes...I CAN feel it!" He hissed, groaning as flames poured from everywhere. He threw back his head and let loose a bellowing roar, a large torrent of purple flame erupting from his maw as he did so, striking the rain clouds above, completely evaporating them. The rain around them began to dwindle as the source was slowly destroyed. "RRRREESSSSHHIIIRRRRRRAAAMMMM!!♪♪"

As the spout of flame rolled into the sky, he felt the flame erupt outward from his spine, sending  a spiral of deep purple and gold roaring into the air. Swiftly, his body moved to contain the erupting flame, a short, thick tail encasing it, with several long quills running along the sides. Golden bands erupted from his skin to encircle his tail as it began to glow a fierce and deep purple. The flame was not yet contained, however, as his hair rushed back through the air, leaving his shoulders and growing longer than the thick tail. That tail also changed as the flame burned within it, a long, ribbon like second tail spiralling out from within it to match the length of his mane.

He panted and howled, still shooting out fire from his maw, all but disintegrating the clouds above, the rain ceasing as he did so.

"Amazing...he really knows what he is doing." The female purred, looking over him as the changes were now complete.

Unable to contain his joy any longer, Dsarvess joined in alongside him, breathing gouts of flame into the sky uncontrollably. "ReeshirrrraaaAAAAAAA!!♪" With a cry, his tail began to glow brightly flame pouring from it, leaving a circle of seared black dirt in the ground as he pounded his wings. With each stroke, he slowly rose into the air, ascending higher and higher into the hole they had burned in the clouds.

The female purred happily, joining the duo as she too cried out in happiness, her flames mixing with theirs, clearing every cloud in the sky above them, the stars twinkling brightly as they sang. "Ressshiiii......ssshhhirrrraaammm!" They cried in unison as they gazed at the stars.

"Mmm...I knew I was right in choosing the two of you. You will be perfect in helping me fight against my rival...not to mention that you two are perfect in other ways..." She blushed a little. Upon realising what she meant, both Dsarvess and Peter blushed a little bit, but Peter had a somewhat silly smirk on his face.

"Err.. Th-thank you." Dsarvess replied, blushing deeply. "I am very glad that you chose us..." Nuzzzling her chest, a scent wafted into his nostrils as he smirked deeply. "Now then, shall we go and show your foe not to harm you?"

"Agreed. Anyone who tries to harm you better have a death wish!" Peter grinned, the skies completely clear now as they saw the approaching storm, thunderclouds heading their way. The storm would be short lived however, as the three Reshiram flew towards them, eager to put an end to this fight and show their foe their combined might.
